Lights, camera, innocence
Nick Yarris at Sundance
Innocence issues get the Hollywood treatment in two new flicks about the wrongfully convicted. "The Exonerated," which features dramatic renditions of real-life stories of wrongful convictions, moves from off-Broadway to Court TV in a small-screen movie premiering tonight. Some prosecutors are apparently upset about the program, claiming two of the show's six stories involve people who are guilty.
Nick Yarris, the exonerated Pennsylvania death row inmate, is featured in a new documentary premiering at the Sundance film festival. "After Innocence" highlight the struggles of the wrongfully convicted after they're released.
